6 October 2021 | 3 mins read Halza Launches Pilot Project of myHalza Pass in Taiwan

6 October 2021, Taiwan — myHalza Pass, is the new digital vaccination passport that stores and enables 3rd party verification of medical documentation required for international travel.

A pilot of myHalza Pass is currently underway with 13 major hospitals, represented by Taiwan’s Non-governmental Hospitals and Clinics Association (TNHCA). They are Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital, Taiwan Landseed Hospital, Kuang Tien General Hospital, Chung Shan Medical University Hospital, Wei Gong Memorial Hospital, Antai Medical Care corporation Antai Thian-Sheng Memorial hospital, Taipei Municipal Wanfang Hospital, China Medical University Hospital, China Medical University Hsinchu Hospital, Tung’s Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital, Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital, Ten-Chen Medical Group and E-Da Healthcare Group. More hospitals are expected to join.

Individuals who receive their vaccination, or get tested for COVID-19, at any participating hospital will receive their certificates and results on myHalza Pass. Halza’s HealthConnect platform for rapid API deployment directs data from the hospital’s system to Halza’s.

“We are pleased to extend the cooperation with TNHCA and our Taiwan joint venture, iEi Halza Health Intelligence (iHHi), and thank the teams in Taipei for granting this opportunity.” said Richard Nijkerk, Halza’s Chairman.

As health credentials are now part of a framework that supports the reopening of borders, myHalza Pass adheres to all international standards of digital vaccination passports.

Not only is it a more secure way to validate travelers’ health status, myHalza Pass eases the entire immigration process in current times.
