Singapore – October 30, 2018

Singapore-based digital healthcare company, Halza, has announced the launch of the latest version of their social-medical app at a networking event for medical professionals. The event, “Halza@Greyhound”, showcased the latest version of Halza, the subscription-based app which lets you store, track & share your medical data with doctors, family, and friends in a private and secure way.

Held at the Greyhound Café in Paragon, the event was a rousing success and showcased Halza’s newest features: QuickShare, Family Accounts, and Languages.

Meant to keep you prepared for any emergencies, QuickShare allows the patient to give the attending doctor an immediate and complete overview of their medical information. The Family Accounts feature allows families to manage the health of their children, parents and spouses when needed. The Halza app also now boasts more than 20 languages, helping you stay connected and manage your health wherever you are in the world.

“Halza was born out of the fact that the world is going mobile, and everyone wants all their information digitally with them,” said Richard Nijkerk, Halza’s founder. “Whether it is social, banking, or work-related information, people nowadays want to have everything in the palm of their hand, on smartphones. This is the premise of Halza.”

He elaborated, “In the process, we realized that healthcare also needs to have a strong social focus, to centralize the patient in the healthcare process. As a result, an empowered patient has better discussions with their attending physician and loyalty between patient and physician is created.”

The event, targeted at medical professionals based in Singapore, also saw healthy discussions on the Clinic Management (CLM) system, an intuitive tool for managing the clinic. The system allows the physician’s office to populate the Halza app with information from patient visits and is offered royalty-free to medical professionals.

“Patient empowerment is the trend of the future. Here in Halza, we understand that. We have created a product that provides a 360-degree view of the patients and gathers medical information that is scattered around,” remarked Fedrick Neo, Business Development Manager at Halza. “It was an exciting moment to see the level of interest that was shown by the medical professionals.”

Part of an ongoing publicity campaign to raise brand awareness, the event is set to be the first of many to present the Halza app to both medical professionals and the greater public, and to communicate that healthcare management can be easy with the right tools.

Want to manage you and your family’s health with ease? The Halza app is available on both Google Play and the App Store.
