Halza at the Brest Friends Festival 2017 in Dubai: a look back at a fun day out!

This year, Halza was one of the sponsors of the first annual Brest Friends Festival in Dubai (UAE), organized by Al Jalila Foundation on October 28th, 2017. The event, that took place at Al Barsha Pond Park, was a family-friendly festival, aimed to raise awareness about Breast Cancer. Activities at the festival included a PINK group walk around the pond, fitness & wellness workshops, installations, water slides for kids, foods from organic markets and a variety of food trucks.  Loads of fun for every age group!  All funds raised by the festival went to support patients with breast cancer.

As our first event sponsorship in the UAE, our booth was manned by an enthusiastic Halza team including Dr. Hen, our mascot, welcoming kids and parents – Who could have guessed Hens would get such a warm welcome for their first official visit on Earth?

Visitors were able to get their vital signs checked by our team of nurses and health workers, as well as learn more about our app. But the most popular activity was for sure, our photobooth.

Here are a few shots – Thanks a lot to everyone that swung by and said hi, it was a pleasure to meet you all! Find the rest of the pictures on our Facebook page! Find the rest of the pictures on our Facebook page!

“It was exciting for me to be at the BFF event, to see our first UAE Subscribers coming on board. I was especially delighted  to witness the success of the onboarding process to Halza and to see how easy and smooth it was to sign on to the app.
The positive atmosphere and feedback of the event is a testament to the team work within the company. I look toward to other events in the future.” Shi Pei TAY – Product Consultant at Halza
